I work in Bracknell and can see the Broadmooor alarm tower from my desk. The last 2 weeks I've not heard it go off at all (it should have gone off just now in fact at 10am Monday) and my co-worker says he hasn't heard it for ages either.
Anyone know what's going on?

Definitely did go off yesterday as I was at home yesterday morning (Jennetts Park) and was able to hear it for a good minute or so. Pretty loudly too.Anyone know what's going on?

I don't know why they bother with the siren anymore. If I was an inmate I would plan to escape at 10am on a Monday. That'd fool 'em.
That's why there's an all clear tone after the test. Though admittedly I didn't know that's what the constant tone is until about 10 minutes ago. It would also go off for a lot longer if someone did escape.Gassing Station | Thames Valley & Surrey | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
