Slightly OT I topped up the SEBEV box at Waitrose a couple of weekends ago with a couple of tokens, it's quite alot fuller than the other 2!How do the tokens turn into donations? Does each token have a cash value?

In terms of how it works, each month, each Waitrose supermarket has a £1,000 budget. The store themselves (and the employees) choose which 3 local charities to support that month. The volume of tokens equates to a percentage of the £1k. So, if over the whole month, one charity gets 50% of all the tokens, and the other 2 get 25% each, then it would equate to £500 for that 1st charity and £250 each for the other 2.
And trust me - it genuinely does make a difference.

And vaguely back on topic - the reason for SEBEV helping out on Saturday at this classic car show is that we also provide first aid and marshalling services, event support, etc, etc for events. All money we get from doing this goes into the coffers to help keep us going.
