A329 mattress antics

Missed the fun on the A329 this morning, anyone have some pictures to share to see if the image in my head matches the reality?

Travel report said someone managed to get stranded astride a mattress in the carriageway and just sat there spinning wheels


Unfortunate for whoever was involved I'm sure (but at least they had a soft landing etc).

Hard to believe but yes, was 2 cars behind and I even managed to get a pic. It's not amazing given the time I had to take it from the hard shoulder but you can see the wheels elevated. When I get onto the PC I'll upload it.

I was just glad to miss the traffic I would have been stuck in if I'd left home 5 minutes later.

It was just past the Wokingham junction Reading bound.
