I take my Scooby to a very good specialist with a fantastic reputation online and through other owners I know.

But as i only recently got the focus i have only just started looking into this, so are there any similar garages around for Fords, or just cars in general local to SAS. I would rather use a specialist with a good rep, or who I had been referred to than use a main dealer.

I know I may have mentioned to a few people that I would not be modifying the Focus at all, but I am starting to think that I should look towards it's winter service and start planning for a couple of little things then, especially as research seems to be saying that it is possible to get 190ish bhp with little more than a sports filter and a slight timing change of the exhaust ports.

For Ford Tuning THE main companies seem to be, Puma speed , Puma build , Jamsport and Mountune.

I'm sure one of them could help / have an upto date knowledge and know-how in terms of mechanical upgrades.

I knew you wouldn't be able to resist modifying it hehe

Ta wacko.

Jamie, I am just preparing for it's winter service, now be good or I'll tell you Mrs how much you spend on that Scooby. wink

And Steve, no v8 or supercharger conversions, yet.

All I am after is a tiny bit more power (oh god this is how it always starts)

The wagon makes it into SOTW and now he's thinking of modding the more modern car:

I think I need to go around and explain to the silver vehicle that he's still a valued member of the team. Maybe I'll bring along a recently rejuvenated contemporary to demonstrated that point ('tis nearly finished I'm told).

Yep, you see that slippery slope.....

Do what I do and reason that you'd rather spend the money on my 'main' car than this runabout.
