Sunday Morning Tunnel Run?

Just saw Deano out this evening and said we'd organise something for this weekend seeing as both sides are open on Friday.

So I was thinking 7am? meet at the Thursley Junction (Can do elsewhere if others prefer?) and we'll do a few laps of the tunnel.

EDIT; CHANGE OF MEETING LOCATION. STILL THURSLEY BUT DUE TO THE HOUSES THERE WE'LL MEET ON FRENCH LANE; (Its long, no traffic and no houses!)

Hello chaps,

Guess what my first thought was when I saw the HH tunnel on the news yesterday...

I'm VERY keen on joining you Sunday if I can. I also thought about posting this in the TVR events section to see if we could get the numbers up with a few Tivvers. I know a few locally and am sure we could get a few along but am worried it would highjack your event.

Are you OK with me doing that? More the merrier in my opinion...

Did I hear that there were average speedcameras in the tunnel?

Philip, there are Average Speed Cameras but they're at 70mph.. To be honest thats more than quick enough.

I wonder if they could.. I saw them sitting in their little office before the entrance, surely if you're still going lower than 70mph and aren't being an idiot its fine.

Someone on my FB says theres a speed camera 3/4 of the way through aswell as average..
