Laptop data recovery

Can anyone recommend a company for the above? My laptop shart itself lastweek and we now have a blank laptop

What broke? If it's the computer(processor/motherboard etc) then your hard drive can be swapped into another machine . Take the HD out(for security) send it to your household insurance people, pay the premium. Mine was £100 for a 2.4Ghz black macbook with 4GB RAM and a broken screen. If it's all gone then start looking for receipts.
BTW I need to sell this lovely machine- a few cracks but as quick as my MB Pro. No problem sending detailed pics. The machine is sweet !
