Remember Someone mentioning about a long tunnel at Heathrow, but can't remember which terminal it was?

Does anyone know?

The ART (airside road tunnel) is even longer and again not accessable to the public. It goes from T5 to other side of T3, probably as long as the hindhead tunnel

It runs parallel to the main public tunnels, access through the barrier on the left of the roundabout from M4....

There is another tunnel on the perimeter road at T5, it's not very long but there are traffic lights at the southern end so you can do a standing start biggrin
Also the cargo tunnel and service tunnel between the CTA and T5 don't have the same ring when going through in a diesel van! Just wish I could get my Cerb airside wink

yep, the one near T5 is very wide and quite short. Used to be a worthwhile addition after the service/main tunnels on the way to the (now defunct) Virginia Waters meets...

I assume because of security it's a very strict no no getting private vehicles airside ?..

All vehicles need an airside pass to be able to get through security.
