Major tailback on M3 near Basingstoke
Discussion
2 closures northbound at adjacent junctions by A30 and A33.
A30/M3 one looks very serious with parts of car cut-away from under a lorry. Chopper on site but must have been there for at least 25 mins and not taken off.
Lots of diversions in place off A34 and down A30. Tailback southbound too.

M3 delays in Basingstoke after fuel spill
Highways Agency workers on the closed northbound section of the M3 after the fuel spillage The motorway is being resurfaced after the crash
A stretch of the M3 motorway in Hampshire has been closed due to a fuel spillage, causing major delays for motorists.
It was caused by an accident involving a van and fuel tanker on the northbound side between junction 5, at Hook, and 6, at Basingstoke, at about 08:30 BST.
About 500 litres of diesel spilt from the tanker on to the carriageway.
The Highways Agency said the northbound lanes would remain closed from junction 5 to 7 until about 18:00 BST.
No-one was injured in the collision, but the driver of the articulated lorry was left badly shaken, police said.
Traffic queues of six miles (10km) to Junction 8, where the M3 meets the A303, have been reported.
A diversion route has been put in place and motorists have been advised to avoid the area.

FFS, there goes my journey home and the A30 will be gridlocked too
Might be better off going up to M4 then back via Sandhurst.
I went bu southbound an hour ago and it was solid northbound for miles. Unless it reopens or clears up in the next 2 hours all the rush hour traffic is just going to join the back of it.

As soon as the job comes in the chopper would be on it's way so would be at the scene quite quickly. Once there the doctor and paramedic will assist with the extraction and stabalization of the injured party. If the car was under the lorry it would be a difficult job to to remove the person from it and could take some time.
Also just because the chopper is there doesn't mean the person will be taken by air, sometimes they go by land ambulance and the doc goes with them.
