Skip hire around Guildford?

We're doing a house clearance in Guildford and there's a lot to get rid of. Anyone know of any decent and more importantly cheap skip hire companies we could contact to help us get rid of it easily? Cheers in advance!

We've used Taurus a few times in the past, they've always been reliable and helpful. You could probably save a little with a one man band from the back of a local free rag but Im always a bit concerned about where the rubbish actually ends up with some of those!

I was chatting with a skip driver a few months ago and he basically said if someone is charging less than £100 then it'll probably end up in a layby; the environmental charges easily run as high as £70-£90 for a skip at the council dumps.

Off the top of my head I think Taurus were about £180 for a 6 yard skip we had, and about £120 for a smaller 4 yard.

I've used Woking skips a few times - always good service (as skip companies go!).
