As above, anyone going?

I went last year and it was a great day. We watched the morning run through Yateley, then went down to Aldershot arena for the lunch/ early afternoon run, then back to Yateley for the late afternoon runs.

£10 for acces to all of the car parks. I think we had to pay extra to get into Aldershot arena though iirc.

Going down to the Arena as usual, only a fiver to get in. I'm on-call for work and it's only around the corner so I'll be paid to watch motorsport for a change smile

Probably going to go to one of the Rushmoor arena stages, I found that really good when I went a couple of years ago.

Have to say quite glad I popped along, not been to a rally since WRC at Chatsworth House in 1996! Very tempting to join the local motor club and get involved.

Does any one know what one of the rwd BMW compacts was running under the bonnet? I think it was the second one out around Rushmoor Arena, cerainly didnt sound or go like the normal '316's' you see about town!

M3 motors from the entry list, it's a popular conversion.

Why's that? Is The compact a lighter chassis?

I think so. Maybe also the shorter wheelbase gives better agility.

We went along to the Yateley stage for the 3pm start. Was good fun but our baby wasn't too keen on the pops and bangs! If anyone saw a guy walking around with a baby strapped to him... that was me!

One of the Wolfs was badly damaged when it came past me - damage looked to be inflicted by a roll.
