Hi,

Which one is a good area to let for family and kids, Lyneham Gardens or Saddlers mews in maidenhead?

I don't drive and will be catching train to slough for work.

There are two good schools near Lyneham Gardens but train station is far, there is one good outstanding school near Saddlers mews and the train station is not that far.

Which one would be a best bid?

Lynham is very quiet and a bit remote, which may be a good or bad thing. The houses tend to be family oriented and well maintained. I used to live nearby in Beverley Gardens and as a home for a young family it was ideal: safe, quiet, lots of other people in the same situation.. But you do need to drive everywhere, apart from Pinkney's Green for walks and pubs..

I don't know the other place well, but it is near the river/town (and a main road), so better connected, but probably busier/noisier.

So it depends what you want, really.....

Can walk to Furze Platt and get trains to Maidenhead/Slough from Lyneham - Sadlers is probably closer to Taplow station (also for trains to Slough)
