Goodwood FOS 2012 who's going ?

Yep Friday for me too, this is my 11th year running - Can't believe the time has flown, doesn't feel like it was that long ago :-)
Have you been before? Friday's usually a good day, fair enough you don't get all the F1 stars but the crowds aren't usually quite as bad and you still get to see all the cars run (which is the main reason I go)! Just get there early as 7am the F1 paddock is really quiet so you can get really close to all the cars.

I have only ever missed one event which was the year the marshal and Lotus driver were killed; kind of glad I was not there.
The first few years had hardly any trade stands, most of the area where the trade stands are now pitched were car clubs from all over the world. Safety was not as much of a feature, hay bales were only on the corners and not all the way up the hill, no real crowds to speak of, burgers for less than £8.50, out of the car park at the end of the day in less than 5 mins - blah, blah, blah.....
I tend to spend Friday looking at the static displays and the forest rally stage, then Sunday morning on the start straight or outside the house for the first runs, then 2/3 of the way up the hill for the second - not that I am a creature of habit........
I have been volunteering for the Richard Burns Foundation for the past few years so get a ticket gratis in return for a couple of hours of my time on the day – superb deal if you ask me!

Saturday for me for the past 3 years. Does anyone recommend the best day to go, or are they very much the same?
I always go on the Friday as it's cheaper and less busy and is certainly THE best choice.Went on a Sunday years ago and it was chaos, much more relaxed on Friday and you get to see everything if you start early enough
