country pub recommendation, oxford area please

much as the title suggests, i'm looking for a quiet country pub within a million miles of oxford

somewhere reasonably quiet to meet a client

this being pistonheads, generous parking is of course a must

When I worked in Oxford a few years ago, my favourite pub was the Crazy Bear and Ragged Staff, we used to take customers there, but not sure I would call it quiet.

Possibly better during the day than evenings.

The Duke of Marlborough in Woodstock is very good with excellent food, next to Blenheim Palace

Try The Swan in Broadway
Easy parking along side.

Good menu and service. (nice waitresses)

Food was first class
Just a tad over £50 for two - starters & light drinks too .
