Hi people!
so im looking into buying either a e36 3 series a mk2 or mk3 golf for a track car!
I would have to store the car and trailer somewhere so here is my question.

Does anyone on here have a car in storage? And how much are you paying? and also anywhere in the camberley area?

I kept a car in SafeStore in Reading for about 6 months, but that was about 5yrs ago, from memory it was about £80 a month, with 2 months deposit. Was a pretty good place to store it, 24hr access always lit and dry.

oh and although the rooms are the same size they were not the same shape, some were wider and shorter and others were narrower and longer, took a couple of attempts to find one that was easy enough to get the car in and out of.

They did say they dont often have cars stored in them and there was a bit in the paper work about not storing flamable liquids but that would be fuel cans etc not petrol in a car as it was low risk of spillage/combustion.

There is http://universalclassiccarsstorage.com/ in Church Crookham, popped in there on Saturday and looks a nice place, not sure of costs.

There's another nr J13 of the M4 that's around £80 a month for a price comparison

Sorry just realised that you said Camberley. I'm not sure what your local council is but it's probably worth speaking to their garage officer to enquire.

As a guide, I rent a council garage in Twyford which is £43pcm.
