Pub in Surrey for a nice lunch?

Head to the Shy Horse, Chessington:

Easy to park there. Adrian W managed with his Noble. I've managed with numerous cars over the years.
If you accidentally look at google maps, you'll find some fun roads to drive on including a 1 mile long NSL DC that's linked by two roundabouts. "Oops, sorry, got off the wrong exit yet again; we'll have to drive back, darling!"
Plus there's the run down to Boxhill.
Beware speed cameras, though. There's one near the pub and one near Boxhill.

Bored at home. Need to head out to a pub somewhere in Surrey with some nice lunch which will please the wife.
Any recommendations?
Next time, email me. I know lots around there, have the same car as you and was doing exactly the same yesterday. Went to the Elstead Mill, great venue especially in the sun. DIRE food though.Any recommendations?
The chap who said, Anchor Lower Froyle is nice is right, great driving around there too!
I'm not local and I'm sure there are a wealth of places to try but we visited "The Jolly Farmer" between Farnham and Bordon last weekend with some family that are based down that way - a nice selection of beer and a good menu IMO. It also seemed to attract quite a selection of nice cars or must be on a decent driving road.

Very close to a friend of mine's parents and not far from my own. Might try that out this weekend....if it's dry enough!http://jollyfarmerblacknest.co.uk/
Jolly Farmer must be on the Surrey border....so if you're heading that way and fancy just breaking into Hampshire, this is the nicest country pub you'll find: http://www.pubwithnoname.co.uk/

And as we are driving out a bit further again I had a lovely burger at the Fox and Hounds near Bursledon recently, I only opted for this because I was spoilt for choice with the rest of the menu,http://www.chefandbrewer.com/pub/fox-and-hounds-bu...
