Guys

Anyone recommend a mobile smart repair guy in the Windsor/Slough area for small bumper scuff? I've contacted Graeme (Waxwork Jock) but not heard back from him. If he is on his hols at the moment I am happy to wait for him to contact me as I hear he does good work. Any other recommendations appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for that. I did see these guys and have emailed for a quote. I was wondering whether anyone could recommend a mobile repair guy for this work.

I was going to recommend the same place, as well as another company based in the Wokingham area called Revive. Have used both of these before, with good reputations and the work has been done to a high standard.

Revive do mobile work, so may be worth calling them to see what they can do.

Looks like Little Knocks is the place to go for this work (although I will see what Revive can offer). Was the repair you had done invisible? Or could you tell if you looked closely?

I had a bad experience with Little Knocks, PM me if you want more details.

I'd go with Chips away in Reading. They do the work for Lancaster i.e. Astons, Jags etc. Had them do a bit of work on a Z4M and it was flawless and I don't say that lightly.

Smart Answers (Rob 07789 726747) Very good Mobile Paint Man if you need someone to come to you. Works in Maidenhead & Slough area.
Seen a lot of his work at various trade customers.

The scuff was on the rear bumper and was visible from a short distance, and had taken off a good layer of paint (this was pre-purchase, so agreed to buy with the view of getting it repaired). Very good job done by them onsite and never had any further problems following the repair.

There seems to be a few places locally that have a good reputation, but I guess the best thing is to give these places a call and see what they can offer. Some places I've spoken to before offer good guarantees on the work done, so that could be another thing that may make it easier to decide who to go with, if the price is right.
