Anyone selling a cheap runabout ?
Discussion
Time to replace the missus volvo and i am dreading going to see overpriced tat at 2 bit dealers operating out of bungalows on the poor end of staines and wembley etc...
So does anyone have a cheap diesel they are selling, medium sized and safe, a tdci 2005 focus or mk4 golf would be perfect ... Or maybe a diesel accord, a D5 volvo, c-max, anything considered, even a prius if its cheap enough. Would much rather buy a looked after car from someome i know. Budget i suppose is 2-3k.
ETA: sorry, no idea how the angry face came about, i certainylu didnt click it.

In stock at the moment we have :
1995 Subaru Impreza 2.0 sport estate, its done 60K (apparently), It was Red, it is now a sort of orangy pink colour where the laquer has peeled off, the exhaust has fallen off and one the wheels is at a strange angle.
a 1998 VW Polo 1.6 CL, one owner from new, 36K (Apparently) Some paint is missing , it has a flat tyre, A whole new Species of mould covers the seats and steering wheel, and the radio is stuck on Radio 4.
Either of these take your fancy?

Jackal, I'll be selling this next week if you're interested.
Economical and will be well inside your budget. 1.7, 57k on the clock, 11 months' MoT and taxed 'til the end of the year. No rust on the sills or rear arches which is where Pumas usually go. Rear brake pipes and bushes just replaced to get it through the MoT.
