Saw your Facebook posts and went out for a late night top down drive for a nose.
By the time I got there, it was pretty much out, and I remember thinking that perhaps they were chucking a load of resources at it due to the proximity of the Castle (appliances were still at 11pm). Having seen the pics, I'm now not surprised!

2 blokes arrested apparently. ..were over heard talking before the fire started.they were in the pub by the building (the 2 brewers)

I nearly had a heart attack when I read the words "major fire" and "Two Brewers" in the news article.


The building on fire has been under renovation for many years now. Perhaps it's about a developer/landlord who has money issues?
