My better half has arranged a Halloween party and turned our house into a grave yard. I've managed to contribute to the preparations by replacing a number of our halogen bulbs with red effect jobs from maplin which look great. Next on the list is a screw type (non projector) red bulb for the outside lights but I can't find them anywhere.

Can anyone suggest a retailer in Berkshire where I could pick up four of them?

Cheers

What about red cellophane as used with lighting stages etc or the more expensive option to paint them with stained glass paint. Both things should be available from hobby craft etc.

You running a brothel ? biggrin

You might find an ES (edison screw fitting) or SES (small edison screw) fireglow red bulb suitable for an electric fire would do perhaps ?

Was going to suggest Maplin, but then I red [sic] your post.

Have you tried Screwfix?

Otherwise make it a "bring a bulb party".
