Any recommendations chaps? My parents want to get one fitted but are struggling to find someone who will actually return a quote!

I have one of their units serving a large house for the last 10 years
A compact unit that does not require an electrical connection
Takes two large salt blocks so little mess filling it up.
Had it serviced once and upgrade on the mechanical unit inside
(this was cheap as the service engineer is ad friend)

No Leaks
No mess
And never failed

I bought one of these and my local plumber fitted it. It was done in conjunction with other work as well so I can't separate exactly what it cost or how long it took to fit. They are essentially pretty straightforward to install, but it would depend on where you want it sited and the details of your system. I'd guess it could take as little as a couple of hours if everything is easy to access.

I think they are expecting the system to be around £500 so I guess £1K all in with fitting sounds about right. This is based on what they have been told by companies they have been in contact with - they seem to be struggling with finding one that is actually interested in doing the job for some reason?!

Not sure if you've already got the info you needed, but my uncle has his own business ( www.pureh2o.co.uk and is based just outside of Woking, but they deliver and install right across the south.

Let me know if you'd like any more info as they provide both home and office systems.
