3 UK versions: GT-R, GT-R Premium Edition (Bose, auto lights and dimming mirrors) and GT-R Black Edition (as premium with smoke wheels and exclusive black paint and red/black interior).

I was budgeting £58k as per press speculation, but been told today that the starting price will be less than £53k!woohoo

So much for people importing them to save money... hehe

Oh yes...

0-60 in 3.3 seconds

This one is worth a watch - especially if you've 'done' the ring...

Just a quick update...
Car now officially ordered with full deposit paid! woohoo

  • GT-R Premium Edition
  • Pikes Peak White Exterior
  • All Black Leather Interior
  • March 2009 Delivery grumpy
The website now has all the specs, colours, dealers, etc... http://www.gtrnissan.com/

rolleyes To dispel some of the myth and rumour surrounding the car that I have read both here and on other sites/magazines:
  • UK cars will not be speed-limited. evil
  • There will be no servicing or warranty 'penalty' for track use; excluding official racing.
  • Servicing will be condition based with intervals approximately every 9,000 to 12,000 miles or 12 months. Not 3,000 miles as I read on here somewhere! smile
  • All cars booked for servicing will be collected by trailer/lorry and returned the same way, leaving a loan car if requested; from anywhere in the UK!
  • Fitted SatNav will not be available for cars built before Sept 2009 - however it can be retro-fitted...
  • Warranty will be 60,000 miles or 3 years (whichever comes first) and can be extended - someone on another site was claiming they wouldn't offer extensions!
  • The GT-R V-Spec will be available to order officially from next March for 2010 delivery with an expected price of less than £65k (I'm already on the waiting list hehe)

Good news then, and offering a good service option then so no need to worry about getting it to a dealer that could be miles away.
