More importantly, if I dare to push the red button (and god knows how much I want to ) will the world end/I get the repair bill for a broken elevator?

Most 'Red Buttons' don't actually work, but you may set off a silent alarm and get a nice lady in a call centre talking to you!

Someone prefers toys to red buttons!

Or if it's very late and the buildings un-attended you might have a long wait until someone goes to the LMR and resets the system.....

But if its what I think it is, its probably not wired in/does nothing anyway!
