5th Feb 09. Basingstoke. Local roads dire. Haven't seen the major roads. It is thawing (raining slightly) but at the moment the conditions are very, very slippery. Needed a push to get out of my estate and I'm glad a shovel in the boot.
It will probably all thaw off later but right now (8:30am) you might want to delay your journey.
