Off Roading Fun
Discussion
Afternoon all
I had a fun day earlier taking the Skoda on a bit of off-roading. Pics below, but it wasn't really off road. Anyone know anywhere good to cane a Skoda estate about?
I wanna do a little bit of "off the beaten track" driving so i can get the car ready for my trip.
Not too hardcore, as it is only a 1.3 Felicia estate.
I'm Frimley based

Wasn't proper off roading really, but it was driving off a road.

Have you thought about aproaching an off road centre and seeing if you can go around explaining that you are doing the mongul?
Not allot of money around these days so they might let you on for a few pics of the queen.
Also I believe there is a sump guard option on most skodas as they are often used by police forces in Eastern Europe for info Richbvrs would know but he's banned...

When you say "off road", how "off road" are you likely to need to go?
If you want to head over towards Dorking in it, I can show you a couple of green lanes that would give you a decent test, and if I take the Shogun, I'll be able to pull you out of anything if you get stuck!
Drop me an email if you like.

Yeah, I am planning on building a sump guard for it. I want to make it removable too so i can still get to the bottom of the engine.
It was grounding out, you can see in pic 3 where there is a shiny patch where I ran out of height!
Can you raise the front by using springs off a heavier engined model or addinf tose insertsIt was grounding out, you can see in pic 3 where there is a shiny patch where I ran out of height!

No "Full" off-roading just yet. Just out and about. If you want to head over towards Dorking in it, I can show you a couple of green lanes that would give you a decent test, and if I take the Shogun, I'll be able to pull you out of anything if you get stuck!
Drop me an email if you like.I will take you up on that offer once I have raised the suspension and fitted sump guard!
Thanks
