Whose going to this? Any plans to meet up beforehand and head over there on Sunday morning?

I am going, we could meet at Beconsfield services, Granted its not a very intersting route to get there. Or we could start more Slough way then head up to Burnham beeches, Into loudwater, through Beconsfield old town, Gerrards Cross ?

Anyone got a linky to the thread? I might be in subject to the normal excuses.

Sounds good to me too - I fancy a 'proper' hoon beforehand though. I've been to a lot of meets lately and have been yearning for some SAS spirited driving therapy.

I should be coming along in the Chim. It survived a trackday so i'm sure it could survive a hoon over there, can't even contemplate the M4/M25!
Recently changed my PH name, so a wavey to everyone on here from effectively a newbie MrChips.

I spend more time eating chips than driving MINIs so it's only appropriate!

Hope you're well Pete? I read you're buying a Tuscan eekbounce

Yeah, was planning a supercharger, then brakes and suspension, and a new ecu and mapping, and that little lot was way too close to £10k for my liking. Just makes more sense to sell a decent Chim and buy a decent Tuscan.
Quite enjoyed driving Alex's on the IOM biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

How's your Chim? Enjoying the weather?

Ah yes, when you're looking at that much money then a Tuscan doesn't seem such a crazy plan! Good luck for the sale of the Chim.

Absolutely loving the Chim at the moment! It's definitely the perfect car for the recent weather. I ended up taking it to Brands and went MX5 hunting.........

Looking forward to bringing it on Sunday. I've not been to one of the Sunday Service meets before but the list of cars/people coming looks great!

Hope to see you there.

Sounds like a few of us are up for it! I must admit to being a geographic numpty so, if anyone knows an interesting route to get there, I'm happy to follow. Anything has to be more interesting than M4/M25 surely? wink

Had a little play to avoid doing my vat return. What about something like this

clicky

Starting at Great Park and through there and then along Drift Road, cut through Holyport/Bray cross the river and take the road up past Cliveden nd across country to the M40 Junction by Beaconsfield, then up through Jordans and the Chalfonts towards the destination. About an hour or so for that, or could stretch it longer going further North if wanted.
