Good morning all,

I'm after a wee bit of help. Can anyone recommend some good locations for a car shoot. I've only recently moved to the area (Guildford) so I'm still finding my way around at the mo.

Ideally, it would be photographed on an open road, with the road leading away in the background with nice views?

A bit like the following that I have shot in the past...

Or, in a wide open space with no clutter in the background, such as this at brunters...

Saggy at brunt

The road would have to be fairly quiete as I intend to shoot on the road, also the open space would have to be accessible to the public?

The car will be red F355 GTS

Cheers

Dean

Blinkin' eck! That's a really great location! What do you think the chances of being kicked off are like though? I'd probably be there for 2 hours.

Thanks for the suggestion, I might give them a call smile

I thank you ! No idea but if you had one car at a time, and you set up as much as possible you could drive up turn around take pics and drive out. Or I guess you could ask ? Theer is always the road the Queen mums house is on to, through the park ??

Any of the roads in the great park. If you head in through Blacknest Gate side, then you will have the best of open space and straight roads. People live in there, but generally traffic isn't allowed. If you ask, they might give you access (or just take a chance...)

The long walk could only be done if you are extremely quick, but there's no chance you'd last 2 hours without being moved on unless you had permission. That said i've never ever seen anything other than rangers driving on the long walk, so i guess its unlikely they'd say yes.

The great park area mentioned is also private, even though the gate opens as you drive upto it. I took some photos in there a few years ago and lasted about 20 mins before being very politely asked to leave by security. They said they had been monitoring me from the gate and didn't recognise my car, so i think security is pretty tight up there.

I've now got a location for the F355 but it's on the south coast, I'll be sure to post the results :0

Hey Dizeee,

How's it going?

I'm shooting the car on the south cost now, might be a bit of a trek for you but you're more than welcome to tag along (i'll be going straight from work which is in Hampshire).

Cheers
