Heathrow Tunnels:
Funny little tunnel in service road next to main entrance off slip road goint into T1/2/3 adjacent to where the mini-Concorde used to be - can be very unused late at night / early morning. Lovely new one when coming back from T1/2/3 to T5.

You have to be careful going through that one at night, I've seen police there on several occasions.

There must be more than just Heathrow, shirley?

I reckon we should get the PH management to mount a campaign to let some of the PHers with 'quality' cars take part in any opening ceremony for the Hindhead tunnel.. "I declare this tunnel open.." <cue being drowned out by countless exotica roaring out of the tunnel portal..> evil

I've herd tales of Hindhead tunnel being approached by organisations wanting to do tunnel runs etc... before the official opening date.

When is the opening date for the Hindhead tunnel?

As for Heathrow, you have to time it to get the most entertainment out of it....

...time it just after a cyclist has gone in, and you've got an excuse to keep stopping and starting. wink
