Hi All,

Next Friday I need to go to St George's hospital in Tooting from Farnham. I need to be there at 8.30am and am trying to work out whether I should drive because there is parking or take the train?

Cheers,

Dinc

+1 I was working on a project at St Georges, tried driving the first time and got the train for the next 9 times. (Coming in from Reading). Although it does have a lot of parking, it doesn't have enough. Had to park my old chariot on a grassy area, and came back to find an A4 printed paper sticker 'glued' to it saying I wasn't parked in a correct bay. a few other cars near me had the same. Took me ages to get the 'sticker' off, and as it was smack bang in the middle of the windscreen I couldn't ignore it either. Meant late departure and getting stuck on the A3 back again. All in all, train avec reserved seat and a copy of EVO is the best approach methinks.

Farnham to Tooting by train looks like about 1h40 with 3 changes.

You might be better off driving to Guildford and getting the train from there? That would be about 45-50 minutes with just one change at Wimbledon.

St Georges is a 10-15 minute walk from Tooting Station.
