Whilst driving home along the A3 last night, I got to this section.. And i'm sure they've been there ages, but the cats eyes are the coolest i've ever seen.

They look like your going warp speed when you go through them.. Anyone else seen them?

Drove through there last weekend with "a bit of a hangover" and got pretty close to an epileptic fit. Not good...

They are led cats eyes with a five year battery inside. Iirc they were trialed on the A27 at Hammerpot in west sussex and proved to reduce accidents by 40% on that stretch of road.

They are now being installed in blackspot areas countrywide, in my opinion they should be used on all roads due to the amount of fecktards who can't drive in a straight line!

Yeh there's some LED ones near me on the other side of High Wycombe - they look pretty cool, and are way better than standard ones. Mind you, having to change their batteries every 5 years isn't great and probably won't happen now the government's in such a state.

Ah! I thought they must have been LEDs because you can still see them lit up in your rear view.

I think their so good they should be everywhere!

At 70mph it does actually make it feel like your going faster.
