I have two places on the event below which have been paid for, so would anyone like to go in return for a donation to Help for Heroes.

It is for tomorrow Saturday 23rd May

An unique chance to enjoy an amazing day out at Goodwood enjoying both the Goodwood Motor Circuit and the authentic Goodwood Forest Rally Stage .

After a briefing breakfast @ 9am, experience the thrill of taking the wheel of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage on the Goodwood Ciruit.

There will also be an opportunity to drive Prodrive’s uprated version of the AMV8 incorporating handling and braking upgrades together with a tuned engine now producing 425bhp.

Then for the ultimate thrill, a ride in the Aston Martin DBRS9 endurance racecar will complete the track experience.

Then after lunch visit the Goodwood Forest Rally Stage, and sample a genuine works rally-specification Subaru Impreza.

The Goodwood Forest Rally Stage is a purpose-built facility in the grounds of Goodwood House, originally designed specifically for the Festival of Speed by rallying legend Hannu Mikkola.

Piloted by a team of top rally drivers to provide a thrilling demonstration of sideways driving, Prodrive’s specially prepared Group N Subaru rally cars will power each guest through the dense woodlands before emerging into the sunlight at the top of the stage, whilst the you act as co-drivers for the rally pro.

You can also drive yourself in a Prodrive-prepared Subaru STI WRX on a special course.

It is a charity event for Major Phil Packer who you may have seen in news or on TV as he has just finished the London Marathon route being only able to walk two miles a day, following an injury where he was told he would never walk again.

The normal cost was £2,750, however we are offering the last few places for £1,200 inc VAT which I can guarantee that unless you are invited on a corporate day at Goodwood you will never see cheaper!!

If you are interested please PM me.

The food is great as well

Breakfast will be served from 9am and will consist of
Bacon Butties
Organic sage and sausage Baps
Scrambled eggs and Smoked salmon bagels
Scrambled eggs and Mushroom Muffins

Lunch will be served from 12.30 until 13.30
Roast Sirloin of Beef with Scallion Mash, Fine Beans & Sauce Bordelaise
Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream
There will be a vegetarian option,

Afternoon Tea will be served from 4pm and will consist of
Freshly cut sandwiches - Smoked salmon and cream cheese, Egg and cress, Cucumber and black pepper, Honey roasted ham with English mustard

The day will come to a close with Champagne Prize Giving, were we will present 3 prizes for the day. All guests will leave with a Group Photo in a Silver Frame, along with a memory stick containing the day’s photos.

Well I'm home, and all I can say is amazing day. Photo's from various cameras to follow, few here from the pro photographer there today. The race car with Anthony Reid driving was another level of fast biggrin The Aston's were amazing, although still don't like flappy paddles! Rally car driving was lots of fun, and being driving through the forest stage at Goodwood was a hoot! Top top day, going to take a bit to better that..

Thanks Dean, I'll try and find a special pic of you to return the favour! smile

Words really do fail me, to think that because of PH and Jane we all just ended up with the most amazing day, also thanks to Neil for letting me have a go in a few Aston's (and of course to the rather brave instructor that let me out in a DB9 with none of the warm up laps in slow cars hehe).

Jane - thank you so much
