Well, so I went to a rather exciting project management lecture this evening, which happened to be in Swindon...
As always when I drive past a sign for Wantage it makes by right foot itch, so needless to say when pulling out of the hotel I accidently hit wantage avoiding motorways on the satnav, and ended up on the B4507
No traffic going my way, not one car and had the 'do not brake' mantra in my head.
Got to Wantage and turned up to the B4494 and it was still light outside at about 9:30, then didn't come across a single car the whole way along the damp and empty road.
I don't believe you're meant to be able to do, Swindon -> Wantage -> Crowthorne in about an hour.

Obviously not trying hard enough As always when I drive past a sign for Wantage it makes by right foot itch, so needless to say when pulling out of the hotel I accidently hit wantage avoiding motorways on the satnav, and ended up on the B4507

Possibly up for an evening jaunt seeing as it's just down the road!
I could book a table at The Bull in Streatley? Basic good pub grub with good beer...
Depends on which eve and would prefer not after WSR as my son is coming too. But it would be easy to drop him home on the way through Pangbourne...
