A review of how my Photography is going
Discussion
This is mainly to show the people that have helped me so far to improve my portfolio that is was actually worth it!
starting off, these were my best shots when I came to ph and asked for help:

Then I had my first photoshoot with Swerni's Mustang:

Then LuckyP kindly let me shoot his GTR early in the morning:

Next I organised a photoshoot of a ph'ers Lamborghini Spyder:

And then it was the big group shot which I felt went quite well and was a totally different experience to before! (I won't post up all the shots, just my faves)

After the shoot, Dean(deanphoto.co.uk) let me have a play with his car rig:

Tony wanted a photoshoot of his new coloured car:

And yesterday I had my first Ferarri ride and photoshoot:

Very Big engine

Big and little fiat

I hope you've enjoyed having a look at my progress
Comments are much appreciated!

Some fantastic shots there George, depth, clarity and lighting is all spot on, what kit do you use?
My only real critisism is that the watermark can be a little distracting...
ps. that dark carpark(?) where Dizzeee's Astra, Swerni's Mustang and the TVR were shot in, where is that?
Thank you My only real critisism is that the watermark can be a little distracting...

I have stopped with the watermark now as I don't like them, no real need for them either.
The car park is in Reigate

I must say some very impressive work there.
What is your base camera equipment?
I have EOS30D with a few attachments including 10-22 and 100-400
However primary use has been sports photography and drag strip.
Need to learn a lot more about the basics though.

I use a nikon D300 with just a Nikon 18-200mm VR lens. I could really do with more lens'! I use 2 nikon SB-600s for the lighting trigered automatically from the camera (never go off manual setting though!)
Just keep parcticing any you'll improve

I posted up on the TV&S forum for the first time in ageeeees last night and remembered about this thread, so thought I would give a further update
So things have changed a little with my photography, I can now drive as I have passed my test. Here are some photos I've taken in celebration of freedom over the last 2 months:

This is how I'd like the car to look: (my photo, but wheels photoshopped)

So anyway, I'll start at the chronological point where the old post finished.
Just a few shots of MrChips' BMW HP2 Sport:

I then organised a shoot with Ed's GTR and a lovely GT3:

My parent's gardener owns a pretty much 100% original Ford Zodiac - I actually enjoyed shooting this car a lot!

This shoot was for an guy that used to go to my school - his father owns the car, but was the most relaxed guy ever.. Handing the keys of the F430 to me and saying 'Meet me at the end of the drive, I'll take the Enzo'
I'll be honest though, I spent so much time having fun that the photos weren't as good as I reckon I could've done!

My Dad's speedster recreation and my uncle's original LR Series 1:

Anjum's new toy: (with a friend's GT3RS)

My favourite shoot by far was of LuckyP's brand new GT3 on track (Brands):

And more recently here are some shots of Ian's Gallardo and Seb's STi:

Well, what do you think?

Great pictures - but just one question; how come there's a GTR in amongst that lot with the reg XX57UK at the front and HX57UK at the back?
the owner asked me to change the plates on the shots and because they were edited over a long period of time I forgot how I did the other!have to say george you are a very tallented chap, how on earth did you come up with this idea for this shot, its awesome and definatly my faveorite, second to the carpark shots
