Anyone else want to go mountain biking?
Discussion
As a result of this thread in the pedal power section, Dizeee, Swerni and I are possibly meeting up to go mountain biking Monday and/or Thursday evening on Holmbury Hill (between Guildford and Dorking, just off the A25).
Would anyone else care to join us? The plan would be to start at 7pm, ride single track for 1.5 to 2 hours, then grab a pint and a sandwich in the pub.

Probably can't make this Thursday, but I'm interested if this is semi regular ride.
So long as the kids aren't driving my wife too insane, I'm not travelling and the weather isn't too bad, I'm going out every Monday and Thursday. Fitness levels still aren't great, but they're better than they've been for 25 years (and I'm only 38 now), so I've got plenty of incentive to keep it going!
I'm happy going out solo in daylight, but once we're back to night riding, I'll only go out with other riders, so I'm keen to have numbers.

I night ride, along with my mates including in the middle of winter. And have been riding the downs and around Surrey for years, so have been down most tracks that are out there, but when ever you join with other riders, you usually find some new ones

Where do you live KP? We usually ride from our doorstep (because we can - same town as Diz), and can have a few jars and not have to worry about driving.

We generally vary the venue from week to week, but there's always a reasonable amount of parking. It's just not usually tarmacced though, so not advisable for anyone who happens to have a bike rack for their Radical.I'll email you in advance of next week with details. Are you around Monday next week, or just Thursday?
