Local exhaust place
Discussion
Can anyone recommend somewhere local to Reading where I can go to get my exhaust checked out? Preferrably on a Saturday.
It sounds like its blowing (definately sounds different to what it used to at tickover and low revs). Had it checked over at Kwikfit who said it was blowing slightly and did some minor work to patch it up for a small fee. However it still does'nt sound right. They either did'nt do it properly or could'nt be arsed, or its something else - either way I'm not too bothered as stainless sports exhausts are not really their game. Don't want to go back to where it was fitted as that is in Cardiff!
Cheers

Get a rag, hold it over the exhaust exit, and listen for leaks. Not very scientific but it does work.It sounds like its blowing (definately sounds different to what it used to at tickover and low revs). Edmunds, near the Sainsbury's in Winnersh. The owner is a friendly chap, has a few interesting cars himself, has helped me out with exhaust related issues in the past on various 'odd' cars
Cheers, thats what I was looking for, somewhere used to dealing with more 'bespoke' applications
