Picked up my new Clio yesterday, last time I had a Renault was about 11 years ago and they certainly have gone downhill on the interior design since then! wink

Clio Cup 200, with Sadev 6 speed sequential box, the new Clio Cup 200 engine with the racing tweaks takes it to 220bhp, data logging kit, and approx 105dB straight through exhaust biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Must admit I'm very impressed with it, great track day toy - once I learn how to drive it I'll start entering some competition next year if all goes to plan.

Shame the Brands Hatch track day is full tomorrow!!! frown

Yeah would be perfect round brands!!!

No its track only, not road legal, currently on slicks, although it does have working lights, wipers and forced air intake for cooling (and a pit lane speed limiter)!

Took it up the 'private' road outside work last night and blimey is it loud and VERY stiff! eek

Yes, its the 2010 race series spec, so ready to race (although watching the clio cup videos on youtube it seems a bit close for my liking!

If there is another (105dB) track day being organised then I'm more than happy to bring it along for pax rides etc etc

Finding another track day sounds like a plan to me Matt, you could look at Odiham on Sunday in case you weren't aware of it?

Utterly fantastic! thumbup

I had a go in the old version at a Jonathan Palmer day and it was superb - and that was only 185bhp!

On another note, I hope this means you've got a towbar fitted to the 599 to REALLY ps off other people when you turn up at track days hehe

Matt thats the dogs danglies, after just having spent the weekend in a 225bhp MINI I can tell you they get a bit of getting used to, but can be great fun.

BTW a 599 towcar is THE way to go biglaugh
