28kg sub-woofer? That's pretty heavy!

Do you not have a cardboard box or do you have one but don't feel it's upto the task?

Try European Van Lines in Colnbrook. Its a long shot but they might have a crate the right size....

Try somewhere like 'Big Yellow' or another of those self storage places, they sell cartons/boxes of various sizes.
