Has anyone had their brake disc's skimmed locally while still on the car to remove and wobble from warped discs?
I'm on my second set of disc's and they have developed a nice wobble at 70mph so I'm hoping if I get them skimmed after they have warped once they wont warp again (wishful thinking).
Also any idea of cost's?
Cheers for any advice.

Cheers for the link.
I thought it could well be pad deposits causing the wobble as the Ferodo DS2500 seem to be known for this.
Still looks like they need a skim though to remove the wobble so any places recomended would be good.

Anyone used any of these companies?

Cheers for any help.

hi, thanks for the link, I'd been wondering where to get mine done, I have exactly the same problem with my car so it will be useful to go an see if this solves it. STS local to me quoted roughly £30 per side which is reasonable enough..

I had this problem with DS2500s' after a trackday at Bedford. Was'nt so much a wobble more a vibration/noise.

A series of hard stops then running for 15 minutes or so to let them cool sorted it out for me (basically repeating the bedding-in process).
