I last made it to the Guildford cruise 5 years ago. Is it still going ?

I can't seem to find any decent references on Google.

Wouldn't be the fat lad that works at Halfords and spent circa £30k of inheritance on it would it? (I am going back 5 - 6 years though).

Wasn't it purple with some massive chrome wheels on it? I drove past Ladymead a few weeks back and couldn't believe how busy the car park was, so yes, it's still going on.

Purple / Blue, the same thing pretty much.

How did he go from being fat, working in Halfords and spending ridiculaous amounts on a st car to being slim and a racing driver? More inheritance? Rich family?

You didn't know the lad who used to have the red Mitsubishi pick up with leather upholstery who worked as a tree surgeon do you. Or the lad who had the black diesel clio van, or the lad with the orange saxo furio, or the lad with the black volvo 480 turbo.

Christ, its strange what you remember when you zatart to think about it. Can't remember any names though.

The Merlin Monster's lives! In Spain now with it's original owner who's still on the run from a Rolls Royce court case (allegedley)

Was a piece on it in Custom Car, few months back.

Yank motor's go, but bugger off early for their cocoa when the young uns turn up.

Dammit, got quoted before I could amend my post. I think using the word 'still' 3 times would have got a thwack from my English master.

Still good enough for a GCSE today though....arse!

It's still going on, every Sunday. The officialCruise for the Yank tanks is the last Sunday of every month, yet the boy racers in the Saxo's and pug's go every Sunday (at least)
