I'm not sure why there hasn't been major piss taking after last nights announcement hehe

For someone who despises big white pikey caravans, I have somehow bought a caravan! Luckily its an cute little wooden vintage Eriba Puck (1.8m wide, and 3m long), and Rory loves it! The Heenan family holidays should be fun for a year or 2 biggrin

Also, it would be wrong to tow something old with something new, so I bought this as well today biggrin

However, I still haven't bought a Disco!!

Don't be too quick Kinky. I'm getting the Beetle later this week, and the Van next weekend.

Unfortunately the 66 splitty isn't ours, but it does look great.

BTW I think I am finally sobering up, after the epic drinking effort last night drunk

Dave - Have you finished your Bourbon biscuit yet hehe

That the neighbourhood gone for st then...

Just need some horse brasses, polished milk churns, a Lurcher.
Maybe some stone Greyhounds on yer front gate posts, a tarmac roller
and a portable toilet out back...

Oh I forgot.. A breaking cart and dealer boots with matching braces.

Do as Yer Likey......

That lots gonna be fun on a Tunnel Run....

bow I'm still riding high off the fact that Rory loves the little mini caravan biggrin . I have been well quoted saying that all caravan drivers found on a motorway should be stopped on the hard shoulder, means tested, and if they could have afforded a proper holiday they should be banned for life. Currently, at least I would pass the test for having no cash for anything remotely extravagent! I still need to get a Disco sorted this week, but I am well aware of how bad it will look towing a Caravan (irrelevent of how retro it is!). After selling our old VW camper, it was always on the cards that we would get another VW sometime. This is definitely the ideal excuse to get one again thumbup

In a strange turn of events, I'm really more excited than I ever thought I would be, albeit properly ready for the inevitable SAS taking of the piss laugh . It's main use will be family weekends away with friends (who a fair few of are vintage VW owners), music festivals, and spending quality time with the kids with no stress or big outlay.

I will miss the tunnel run driving, but after selling the beastly noisy unruly neighbourhood upsetting tyre smoking Monaro, not much in my current vehicle budget level would match up to that excitement! Passenger requests will be coming out soon (Ricki, Dave, etc) if I'm still invited that is hehe

Sold, and now living near Brighton. Its final time of waking up the local Ascot neighbourhood was about 2 months ago. It created some good memories, namely a 13.1 @ 109mph in the wet at shakeys, and one truely memorable tunnel run winkthumbup
