Just saw this on the Highways site...Hope everyone is ok!

The A404(M) southbound is closed between junctions J9B and J9, due to a serious incident. Normal traffic conditions expected from 1:00 pm.

It's northbound that's closed, or was as it fked up my journey to work quite badly this morning!

you're both right. It was closed in both directions.
A404(M) Berkshire - Closed due to serious accident , four cars and two motorcycles involved between J9B and J9A, congestion on A404 to A308 Marlow Road. Diversion in operation - via the A4, A308, then onto the A308(M

Sounds like things got out of hand...
