Hi Guys, i'm after a wheel refurb place. i deally i'd like them refurbed and sprayed in a dark grey. Anyone know of anywhere around this sort of area that can do it for a decent price and with a quick turnaround? i have no spare wheels to put on the car, so would be without car whilst it's being done! cheers!

yes

They are pretty good and if you give them your offset and stud pattern they'll try and find a slave set of wheels for you.

Just use these people if you can be without your wheels, won't find a better job and they'll collect / return them.

cheers guys, that wheelrefurb link seems to be about £100 cheaper than montys, and they offer a collection and delivery service. Anyone had any experience with either?
Also, what colour do people think for a black B5 S4? smile dark grey or anthracite? It has B5 RS4 wheels.

I've been threatening to use these guys for a long time now, especially as Montys sub contract the wheel refurbs out which tends to push the price up a little.

I'll need some new tyres on the S2 soon so I may well get the wheels refurbed or may just pop on the cheap slave set I bought which appear to be in pretty decent nick.

Think link I posted as been well used by Verysideways and I've also used them, they're way better than any other company I've seen for this, and I had used others.

They even phoned me last time to confirm which shade of silver I wanted even though I was having all 4 done.

EFA hehe

Apologies for the 'inside-joke' from the Scotland trip to those who weren't there to witness the pink wheels!

They did the wheels on my Mitsi about 8 months ago, good service, good price, but not that local to you guys..

just rung both.

wheelrefurb.co.uk - £170 all in, take wheels off deliver to them.
montys - £320 all in, drive car there, they take wheels off and loan slave wheels, take it back when done and they swap them back.

montys definately seems better seeing as they lend wheels and do all the wheel swapping for you. £150 extra though!

that's what i though, quite far away actually. motnys offering slave wheels is really good as i wouldn't want to be without the car for a week.

I'll be using these guys when I get mine done.

Its simple not worth £150 extra to go any where else
