Brooklands is great, I suffer from the "on my doorstep" problem with it in that I don't go nearly as often as I should, they have loads of car events all year round and the sheds full of old cars and planes are fascinating. Plus the museum volunteers seem to know a ridiculous amount about almost any topic you can think of regarding the exhibits.

(Last time I was there I spent about half an hour just listening to a guy talk about some of the engineering behind the Wellington.)

Thats one very cool car. Only seen 1/2 others. First was in a Police pound (stolen car) with its engine missing. And the other was the other week where a Lancia Stratos kit car had the Lancia / Ferrari engine. And as I've just typed that realised there is a superficial link But not related seperated by a few years.
Will look out for the car, you will not be difficult to spot
Think we have the only Aston in the area - always have to thrash it past MB World. Give me / Aston Annie a wave if you see us

I work in Brooklands Industrial Estate so pretty close.

If you see an idiot waving wildly in a black Murano, black Mustang or black Aero 8 then that'll be me
