It's actually quite good compared with the old office.

Plenty of parking and it operates on a ticket system and you don't normally wait longer than 5 minutes before seeing anyone.

Yep, Reading was a doom room. argumanets with staff, hours and hours of waiting for people who can't speak engrish, fill in forms for provisional licences. Yes, Theale is better, they can't afford train fares to get there !!!!
2 goes there for plate changes and both times done within 30 mins..................

New one is much an improvement, has parking for a start. Only had to wait 5 minutes, instead of an hour last time at the old place. The old place had lots of car dealers near it which always seem to have someone there registering a new car or something. Now it's further away, they probably try to make less trips!

I remember the old one , just past the wino's and druggies , great place to leave a nice car. The new one sounds much better.

Another vote for here the Theale Office. Only a 10 min drive from home now, lovely windy roads too. It does help when the car is not a traffic lover.
