Fireworks - actually on fire work night?
Discussion
The Shoulder of Mutton pub in Playhatch is holding a 'banger for a banger' fireworks party on Thursday 5 November 2009.
For each member of the family they will supply a free jacket potato and one filling in exchange for one big firework from the whole family.
After the display they then serve hot pancakes in aid of the RNLI. There will be a full bar, a warm pub and lots of hot drinks to keep the chills at bay.
Details: Doors open at 18.30, firework display from 19.30/ 20.00 for an hour. More details: 0118 947 3908

Nigel, that does sound like fun, but if it's home fireworks I'd rather blow them up in my back garden

I thought the Beer and BBQ would have swayed it

Good news from Andy?
Well news, plan agreed and he's taken his best guess at how big the bill will be and it's pretty f
king scary, however not as bad as it would have been if we'd got the head from VAG.

He did say he'd throw it on the transporter that's heading off to Poland tomorrow if you wanted

luckily he didn't tell me how much he'd give me for it. However I did just speak to someone else that had just got himself an S3 for a grand as it's f
ked. my car is worth more to me than a grand even with no engine
