Anyone know of a good breakfast venue near Winkfield? Maybe a decent truck stop or equivalent?

Thanks...

Used to live in Wnkfield Row and one thing the area needed was a somewhere to tuck down in the morning but I never found one. frown
I used to use the Tesco at Warfield which wasn't too bad.
There's a number of coffee shops and the like on Ascot High St if you want to eat pastries 'Al Fresco.'

That's not a good sign. Our company are closing the canteen, and there'll be nowhere to have our Friday morning fry-ups!

That place opposite bracknell tyre and battery isn't bad. to be fair i haven't been in there when i've not been hungover though!

There's also a cafe on the road into wokingham off the a329, by the hilton. don't know if it's any good though?

Company in Winkfield big enough to have a canteen? scratchchin I assume you work in a large red brick building then?
Only other place I can think of near there is Stirrups. Being a hotel, I assume they will cater for hungry travellers although a bit more pricey than your usual greasy spoon?

Wonder if Bird Hill Golf Club do a fry, that wouldn't be too far would it - should really find out either way as it's only going to be about 500 metres from my new house lick

I had breakfast with my old MD there a few years back and the food was good and don't remember it actually being pricy so might be worth a look. That is assuming they haven't gone silly in the last few years mind.

There is a cafe and car wash centre next to Warfield Garage in Warfield.

Been past it a lot, but not been in myself though.

Couldn't possibly say, of course! wink

Stirrups was the first place to look, and they're not highway robbery, but nor are they greasy spoon value either. I suspect that we may have to end up there anyway, as many of the other possible options require more travel than we are likely to have time for before work...

Hi chaps.
Been lurking for a long time and thought I would answer a post that is close to my heart(attack).
Been to that caf a few times as my friend has a yard just round the corner.
Food is ok and prices are good.

My favourite is The Old School Cafe just up the road from Surrey Rolling Road.
Prices are strong BUT food is always top quality.

Good luck with the search
