Can anyone recommend a company that would rapidly get a pump on site in sotonn we are knee deep in water in a lift pit and local suppliers are out, H is at Home trying all places but nil joy!

Any quarries near you? They use submersible pumps all the time. Ask for a fitter, he could tell you who supplies their pumps in an emergency when one fails.

Also try tool hire companies, or these boys Linky

Machine Mart keep a good stock of budget priced sumbersible pumps
Plus some heavy duty contractors types.

110v & 240v SP
Plus one with floats and ones that can handle foul water etc etc

Or for more proffesional setup try Pump Technology at Aldermaston.
I can install for you and drill sumps
Run risers in steel or ABS

I was near Chichester with the tanker today
Can deep lift and have 100m of suction in the yard.

Bigger than anything Whale make
150mm suction hose will take up a lot of stuff quick
Including small children and stray dogs.....
