I don't think so at all. As long as you keep away from the body kit that Paul V got with his latest one hehe not cool

LOADS of fun with the turbo setup, and not much cash smile Great way to get into rwd too...

Not at all. Cool cars for those in the know wink Great way into RWD as Fraser says. My brother picked up a Mk2 3 wks ago on my recommendation. Paid around £6k from a dealer IIRC. Admittably my brother is not the most macho guy you will ever meet so it'll not cramp his style hehe

I did consider getting a boosted one a while back. Would still love to have a go in one. I actually prefer the look of the Mk1; pop-up lights are wicked biggrin

You know what, I quite like those (There I said it!)

Given my current inability to find a car that I both want and can afford I might pick up something like that for the winter, move it on in the spring and get something more powerful then.

Have you looked at either of them?

Nope not looked at either of them, just musing at the moment. I still have to sell the Swift anyway, which I can't do at the moment because I'm at Uni and the car's at home in the garage.

Yeah it is quite high, although it's just had a head rebuild and they're supposed to be pretty tough. From what I've read you should buy on condition not mileage.

I'm not actually looking at this car per say, just the E30 325i Sport model in general. I need to sell my car before I can buy anything.
