With all of these lunatics burning holes in the ozone layer (whatever happened to that?), and killing polar bears with their excessive use of our precious fossil fuels (as evidenced by the fact that there are no bears to be found in Crowthorne), i have now seen the light.

It is obvious to me that my need to re-create that famous journey of Scott of the M4 this evening is entirely due to global warming (although there seemed to be nothing warm about the temperature) and we all know that this is, in turn, entirely due to people with large fk-off engined cars.

Given that these big V8/10/12 cars will survive a nuclear holocaust (ask Mel Gibson re: Mad Max) then as the years pass, we can only expect more and more snow. So, i'm thinking that i need something in which to enjoy the snow a little more. And, given the huge expense of these vehicles, the fact that i know i would be helping ensure the future of blizzards, i might feel that I am protecting my investment, in some self-perpetuating way

So, should it be diesel or petrol?

I'm on the hunt for another Defender at the mo, keep finding nice ones but all miles away - also suddenly feels like a cliché buying one in this weather but what the hell... I did decide I wanted another one well before all the snow came, honest hehe

My brother bought one and after finding so many things wrong with it, rejected it and gave it back for a full refund. He now has a RR sport and loves it.

Supercharged "spec". I was particularly impressed with "genuine supercharged rear lights" - how fecking fast must they be? hehe

The defender does look tempting, sadly I REALLY do need a 110 though so have some fwd facing rear seats for the sproglets.
