According to my vague memory - there is a pub right by Wokingham station, called the Rising Sun.

Firstly, is that correct? And secondly, is it any good?

I'm meeting brother youngest tonight at 6, and I figure the pub, as a meeting point only, is a good start smile

The pub at Wokingham station is the Molly Millar. There is one on the opposite side of the tracks called The Three Brewers.
My opinion is that the best curry house is the Sultan. This is right in the middle of town adjacent the town hall next to a pub called the Square.

I agree the Sultan is the best, but the others are all pretty good as well.

Kinky - just go to the broad street tavern, it's nicer than most of the pubs.

Yeah Ben - we will be going there. He's coming from Guildford - so I've got a 20+ minute wait. And of the choices of standing in the cold and waiting .... or being in a pub, imbibing some of the evil black stuff ..... well, there's only 1 answer drink

The Rising sun is by Reading station, if it still exists.

Nicely tucked up at home now; after a quick visit to the Sultan; and a swift one or 5 at the Tav smile
