im going to go and drive both of them when i can get there, and they should be similar in profaramce but i was wondering which one would be the most "Jos proof" so to speak

Er... neither are particularly robust mate. Has anything ever been found to be Jos proof? hehe

Love that Skyline though. Would be an absolute weapon. Ask john_r about how the RS6 stands up to proper use.

PS - You doing IoM trip this year?

i am also leaning toward the skyline because i have always wanted one, but i looked at the rs6 which has higher mileage so that the all the chocolate bits should have been changed.

and they just don’t seem to make things properly biggrin

and yes i will be going to IOM and am look forward to seeing the elise up on the mountain road

RS6 will fall apart very quickly and cost a fortune IMO!

I too would love to own an R32. In fact I did give serious consideration to getting one next after the Clio. One of the things that put me off was potential running costs! But also the driving experience perhaps being not to my tastes, I don't think running costs are that horrendous (but I'm no expert).

Glad you're coming to the IoM again thumbup (Got your name down on the list in TVR events forum?) Theres no trackday as yet so your gearbox is safe this time (probably) wink

I can't wait to fire the Elise up over the mountain either! drivingcloud9

Of those two i'd say the R32, though i doubt it'll be Jos-proof.

Having said that, make sure you test drive a 130i before you buy an R32... that's what i did two years ago smile

Not sure about that Pete, doesn't tick enough boxes, at least I don't think it does yet.

I just remember that TR night with me in the Tuscan and Fraser in his Monaro with one less exhaust box. Looked good, sounded fantastic, went exceedingly well and stopped well enough too smile
